Profile

Becky joined Somerset in 2005 and is a senior manager in our Assurance Team. She is a CPA and has been in public accounting since 1998. In working with both national and local accounting firms, Becky gained extensive experience in the audits of for-profit, medium-to-large, public and privately-held companies. Her specific experience includes performing and reviewing financial statement audits, understanding and documenting a wide variety of accounting information systems, analyzing and designing internal control systems to include both preventative and detective controls (including compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404) and financial and SEC reporting. Becky has also consulted on initial debt offerings. Among the many industries she serves, she has in-depth knowledge of manufacturing, transportation, software, service and casino, with a focus on Japanese-owned businesses. 

Education

Becky graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and marketing.
